Hello and thanks for opening this web site. I am professor Emeritus Robert K. Holz. I taught at the University of Texas at Austin for 38 years. I have written a fictional novel that is based in part on an incident I observer while doing field work in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. The book is titled "A Prayer for Juan Garza" Drug Culture in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas, Authorhouse. Readers have found it an exciting read with a surprising ending.
